Online: Research Internship

Survivors Connect

Goal: To assist in the activities and programmatic development of the Connection GeoMap Project.

Responsibilities
• Conduct research on anti trafficking networks and organizations located in assigned countries
• Organize data according mapping guidelines
• Interview (in person or phone) key individuals who may help in your data collection

Desired Qualifications
• College Junior/Senior in good standing or recent graduate.
• Experience in conducting online research and can understand and use social media sites
• Experience organizing meetings, contacting individuals and organizations.
• Good organization, writing and communication skills
• Good understanding of basic Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
• Passion for human rights and anti-trafficking efforts

Requirements:
• 1-2 hr Webinar Introduction to Survivors Connect and relevant training for position
• Minimum of 10 hours per week
• Weekly/Bi-Monthly phone/Skype Progress Report and check ins
• State & end dates are flexible, but 3 months minimum is required.

Location: Can be done from any location, so long as you’re in the US and have reliable Internet connection.
