New Delhi: NISHAN-Human Rights Internship

3-6 month Internships for social workers, investigators,teachers lawyers and others desiring to gain more experience in international human rights advocacy. These positions offer an incredible opportunity to work on the frontlines of justice in the world's largest democracy and thus serve for dignified human life and contribute peace and progress in the society.

Internship program goals are:

1. To utilize the intern’s talents, skills, and service to advance the core mission of UPHOLDING RIGHTS & JUSTICE.

2. To help the intern become an agent of change for the less fortunate and propagate the cause of human dignity and human rights for the peaceful and prosperous society.

3. To equip the intern with training and experience in all round work as a leader to develop organizing skills and intervene on behalf of victims of corruption & human rights violations/abuse of power,express solidarity with their cause and strategise the efforts for legal cosequences against the perpetrators with punitive action against them.

4. To help the intern become an ambassador of good will, who will share the NISHAN's story of UPHOLDING RIGHTS & JUSTICE and propagate the cause and associate with the people of good will in the society .

Administrative Instructions: Position is unpaid but the intern will be provided with subsidized accommodation and food by the organization. In country travel expenses during the project work will be born by the organization. Detailed administrative instructions will be provided on short listing.
