Senior Development Officer- Major Gifts

We are seeking Senior Development Officers – Major Gifts for:
• Northeast Region: based in our New York Office; portfolio covering New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut
• Mid-Atlantic and Midwest Region: based in Washington, D.C.; portfolio covering the greater Washington, D.C. area and states in the Midwest
• Northwest Region: based in San Francisco; portfolio covering California, Washington and Oregon
Officers will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize income from individual donors and prospects at the major gifts level, in addition to planning local donor events for the purpose of fund raising and stewardship.
Additional Qualifications:
College degree and experience in development with a strong practicing background in major gifts fundraising is desired. Candidates with consumer, sales, or one-on-one marketing experience with a strong desire to enter the non-profit sector will also be considered. Candidates should be outgoing self-starters with strong communications and marketing skills.
