Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Rights

We are seeking a lecturer or senior lecturer who can teach the theory and politics of human rights in our policy and practice-oriented MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights, and contribute to our core research programme. The successful candidate will have a background in the social sciences, an outstanding record of research and publication in human rights (preferably on development, human security, or conflict resolution), a relevant regional specialism, and practical experience in the human rights field.

The appointment is due to commence on 1 August 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter.
