The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) is a non-profit legal and educational organization dedicated to advancing and protecting the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. For nearly 40 years, CCR has fought human rights abuse, segregation and racial profiling, made important contributions to the battle for abortion rights and the rights of victims of domestic violence, challenged the conduct of oil companies and other corporations, and led key challenges to the Bush Administration’s policies on Guantánamo, domestic spying, arbitrary detention, torture, the Patriot Act and the unconstitutional expansion of Executive authority.
