London: AI Programme Director - Internet & E-Communication

Amnesty International, the world’s largest human rights organization, is looking for a Director for our new Internet and E-communications Programme, to lead the development of AI’s global web presence to enhance public awareness of AI’s work and priorities, as well as building online communities of human rights activists and supporters.

The successful candidate has a vision for unleashing the full potential of the internet as a communications and mobilisation force, and will have broad experience of developing, promoting and running effective multi-lingual and multi-cultural websites. You will have managed creative and technical staff and substantial budgets, have a good understanding of international affairs and will be passionate about human rights.

The position is based at AI’s International Secretariat in London.
