You will be responsible for the editing and post-production work needed to produce creative audiovisual material. Utilising relevant hardware and software you will generate a range of products to complement or drive AI’s organisational priorities. You will have a strong sense of how to realise AI’s objectives through the use of audio and video. This will involve an engagement with projects from the early stages to influence how they are produced and how they can be most creatively realised, through to carrying out the necessary work to enable delivery of material to the highest standards.
You will work in close co-operation with the other members of the audiovisual production unit, AI's international press office and AI’s other departments and national offices to produce materials related to AI's international media, communications and campaigning strategies. You will also work with broadcasters and external suppliers ensuring that the materials produced appeal to the intended audience and relate to AI's concerns.
Experienced in audiovisual post-production work, preferably within a media or news environment, you will have a broad-based knowledge of the tools necessary to produce strong finished products to the required standards. Good communication skills are essential along with the ability to consider conflicting views in the production of materials and a sensitivity to the issues with which you’ll be dealing.
