Communications Officer - HRBA Project

Based in Dublin, the primary responsibilities for the Communications Officer are to capitalise on the strength and credibility of Amnesty’s work and reputation, in particular the work in relation to Human Rights Based Approaches (“HRBA”). The post holder will also deliver a comprehensive communications strategy that will seek to build a strong, positive image of the organisation and contribute to the creation of a positive atmosphere in which Amnesty International’s work can have maximum impact. The post holder shall also increase understanding and awareness of HRBA by encapsulating the message for a wider audience.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract, to run until March 2009.
