The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief of the Resource
Mobilization Unit at its Geneva headquarters.
The Office promotes and protects human rights as established in the
Charter of the United Nations and in international laws and treaties.
The Chief of the Unit is responsible for planning and developing
resource mobilization strategies for the Office to ensure timely and
predictable funding from donors such as Governments, foundations
and the private sector. S/he will advise the High Commissioner on all
matters relating to resource mobilization and will be responsible for
donor relations.
Interested candidates with at least ten years of professional experience
in fund-raising, including in the private sector, are asked to apply

The United Nations believes that staff diversity contributes to excellence.
Women and nationals from developing countries are particularly
